Overview of the objectives of the 3M We love Orthodontics Program

We see that you give your best everyday: for your patients; for your team; for your friends and family and for us, as a society. We see that you make people´s lives better. We want to say thank you and invite you to become part of 3M We love Orthodontics. Membership is subject to the program’s Terms and Conditions set forth below:

No Purchase Obligation

3M is committed to compliant interactions with Health Care Professionals and Organizations. We are members of MedTech Europe and follow their Ethical Code on Business Practice.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions requires, or shall be construed to require, the use, order, purchase, or recommendation of use, ordering or purchase of any 3M products or services. You warrant that nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect your judgment as to the products and services that are best for your patients or otherwise affect your decisions regarding the use, ordering or purchase of healthcare products or services. Who we are

References to "we", "our" "us" or “3M” in this T&Cs mean 3M Company and its subsidiaries (3M group companies).

Section 1. Purpose of T&Cs.

  1. These Terms and Conditions will:
    1. explain who is eligible to join the program, and how the program works;
    2. set out how you can be supported in your daily work simply by joining our 3M We love Orthodontics community - a community that provides healthcare by using 3M orthodontics products; and
    3. invite you to discover how you can benefit from being a 3M customer, and explore many other advantages we have for you, from an educational offering to special promotions with the support the 3M orthodontics team
  2. To take part in the 3M We love Orthodontics program, all Terms and Conditions must be accepted by the user on behalf of the account holder, including any subsequent updates.
  3. By submitting your registration to the 3M We love Orthodontics program, you confirm you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

3M reserves the right to amend or discontinue this program at any time.

Section 2. Who can join the 3M We love Orthodontics Program?

Each orthodontic professional who collaborates with one or more practices where orthodontic treatment is offered and implemented may join the program.

Only dental and/or orthodontic practices can participate in this program. Dental service organizations, or other entities that have specific pricing agreements with 3M, are not eligible to join this program. Distributors, dealers, wholesalers, brokers, traders, importers, and similar entities are not eligible. If you are not sure if your practice is eligible, please send an email using to 3m.orthodontics.EMEA@mmm.com

Section 3. Benefits of the program

As a member of the 3M We love Orthodontics program you will have access your own 3M customer information, to current discount structures, to exclusive 3M promotions, free education and early awareness of 3M training programs.

There is no obligation to purchase any 3M products for access to the above.

  1. How to register as a member:
    • 3M Account number, name, last name, mail address, practice name, city and postal code are requested to log in through the registration form available in the web.
    • Only one username can be registered and sign-in on behalf of an orthodontics professional.
    • Accounts must be registered and verified with 3M’s internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
    • 3M will verify all 3M We love Orthodontics accounts in order to facilitate the automated communication of special and related benefits of this program.
  2. How to access education:
    By registering in the program, you will have access to the educational offer.
    After registering your 3M We love Orthodontics account, you can access education offers hosted by clicking on the education icon in your profile
    Early-Bird invitation to 3M Education Events – When you become a 3M We love Orthodontics member, you can receive invitations before everybody else, to ensure your space is reserved. Registration for live events with a limited capacity may be subject to further selection criteria and local business requirements.
  3. How to access promotional offers
    Special promos. When you become a 3M We love Orthodontics member, you receive access to special promotions, which may be specific to this program or open to a broader group. You can access promotions by clicking on the promo icon in your profile.

Section 4. Personal information

3M respects your right to privacy. This section summarizes what personal information we may collect about you, how we may use this information, and other important topics relating to your privacy and data protection.
By signing up to the 3M We love Orthodontics program, you acknowledge that we will collect, hold, use, disclose information about you in connection with your account and benefits for the purposes explained herein below.

What type of information do we collect? 3M may collect your 3M customer number, name, last name, email address, postal address, practice name and address, purchasing history.

  1. Who is processing your personal information?
    Data controller: 3M Company of St. Paul – MN (USA) (contact details at Data controller: 3M Company of St. Paul – MN (USA) (contact details at www.3m.com) , along with the relevant 3M affiliate for your Country (details at www.3m.com/3M/en_US/select-location/).
    Data processor: SNIPP Interactive Ltd. of Cork (IE), based on a data processing agreement. SNIPP are an independent company collaborating with 3M for this program.
  2. Why is your personal information processed?
    We will use your personal information for the purpose of managing your participation in our 3M We love Orthodontics program, to provide and market customized benefits and services to you.
    We use your personal data to administer our communications with you and your requests regarding how you do/do not want us to contact you. We also match personal data you provide and your requests with other information about you, e.g., the products you express an interest in, education offers you express an interest in and your reaction to our promotions and our interactions with you online and in person. Collecting your personal information in this way helps us to understand your preferences so that we can send you more relevant communications and promotions.
    Based on your participation to it, we may also use your personal information to let you know about offers and news relating to our 3M We love Orthodontics program electronically—e.g., email, SMS, and social media.
  3. How long we store your personal information?
    Your personal information will be stored for the entire duration of the 3M We love Orthodontics program and for a maximum of 3 months if you or 3M cease your account.
  4. Who your personal data may be disclosed to?
    Your personal information will be transferred to, stored and/or processed by 3M and third-party partners managing the 3M We love Orthodontics program on our behalf, in the UK and European Economic Area (EEA), under strict obligations of confidentiality and security. In case your personal information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, toward a country offering a different level of data security (e.g., the USA), it will be done under proper contractual safeguards, such as an enforceable version of the European Union Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Section 5. Third Party Responsibility

3M will make every reasonable effort to ensure the description of education and promotional offers in connection with this program are correct. However, 3M is not responsible for any inaccuracy in materials provided by third parties.

Section 6. Resolving Disputes

Should you have a complaint in relation to the 3M We love Orthodontics program, please contact our help team directly through the program.

Section 7. How to Communicate with Us

You can contact us directly through your account.
If we need to contact you, we will send emails to the address you provided for your account.
You are responsible for notifying us for any changes to your contact details.

Section 8. Program Termination

We may discontinue this program at any time without prior notice. Any notice we give will seek to include the general reasons for termination.

Section 9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change and update our terms and conditions when required. Whilst these changes may come without prior notice, we will notify users of any major updates to ensure full transparency.
